We're glad you're here!

What are worship services like?

We have three different services to offer. Select each tab to learn about them!

Saturday Service

A service with traditional liturgy, hymns or songs, bible readings, and weekly communion.

This service is held in the Sanctuary from September to June and in the Community Room from June to September.

Sunday Traditional Service

A traditional liturgical service, including hymns, bible readings, weekly communion, and occasional choir anthems is based on the liturgy of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Music is led by our skilled organist.  On special services, we include other instrumentation like flute, trumpet, and strings.

This service is held in the Sanctuary, and also streamed live on Facebook.

Sunday Contemporary Service

A service with simple liturgy, contemporary music, bible readings, and weekly communion. Music is led by our worship band and features modern-styled music featuring instruments like guitar, piano, bass, drums, and more.  In this service, you might hear music written by Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Kari Jobe, Citizens and Saints, and more.

This service is held in the Sanctuary from September to June, and in the community room from June to September.

I'm new ... what else should I expect?

Check out some of our frequently asked questions.

  • How do people dress?

At Our Savior, you are welcome however you are.  Some people wear jeans.  Others wear “business casual.”  You might even see someone sport a tie. Or maybe a tie with some Chuck Taylors'.

  • What about my kids?

We LOVE children!  They are a very important part of our ministry. From our Faith Quest Program to Family Teaching Time, we are committed to making our church a place where children are valued and educated.

  • Can I take communion?

The Lord's Supper is the precious gift of our Lord's own Body and Blood given to us with the bread and the wine for the forgiveness of our sins. This meal both strengthens and declares our unity in Christ.

The Lord's Supper is celebrated at this congregation in the confession and glad confidence that, as he says, "our Lord gives into our mouths not only bread and wine but also his very body and blood to eat and to drink for the forgiveness of sins and to strengthen our union with Him and with one another,  Our Lord invites to his table those who trust his words, repent of all sin, and set aside any refusal to forgive, And love as he forgives and loves us, that they may show forth his Death until he comes.

Because those who eat and drink our Lord's body and blood unworthily do so to their great harm, and because Holy Communion is a confession of the faith, which is confessed at this altar, any who are not yet instructed in The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, and yet desire to receive the sacrament, are asked first to speak with the Pastor before the next communion service.

  • How do I get connected?

The best way to get to know people is to get involved! Join us as we serve others and share Jesus!  Volunteer to help with an event, serve during service, attend a Bible study, or talk to a pastor.

  • Where do I park?

As long as you are between two yellow lines, you are fine. There are two lots, an upper and a lower. If you want easy access to the church Sanctuary, use the upstairs parking lot.

Pathway to Membership

We hope you feel at home and have a sense of belonging in our community of Faith, Love, and Hope. As we get to know each other, you will discover that we are far from perfect. There is no perfect Church this side of the Last Day!  But we'd love to learn and grow in the Way, Truth, and Life of Jesus with you.

Where are you on the journey?

  • Are you curious about the Christian Faith?
  • Are you coming to us from another tradition in the Christian faith?
  • Are you coming to us from another Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod congregation?

Some people worship with us without making any formal commitment to membership. You are welcome to continue to grow with us like that for as long as you need.

But we see a great value in a formal relationship with a local congregation. There is beauty in the mutual accountability that such a relationship provides.

When you become a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, you are making a commitment to three key relationships: God, His Church, and the world. Together, we will learn to prioritize life around these three relationships.

This is what God created us for! Relationship!

What now?

You've found us on the internet!  Have you met us in person? Ideally, this is the next step. We can't wait to meet you!  You are welcome to join us for worship!

We'd also love to get to know you personally. Feel free to contact Pastor Randall. We can meet you for coffee, breakfast, lunch -- you name it!
